Jump

I am not feeling words flowing through me right now. Today’s prompt does bring to mind some photos I took yesterday of the sparrows that visit me. First a short explanation of why. They don’t walk, like crows or mynas, they hop around. Another reason why I associate them with jumping is because while most birds take  off after spreading their wings these guys first take a leap then open their wings.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Short distances mean one good hop.Two different birds ,both taking a hop to reach the ledge

Like I mentioned before they are small but mean and are ready to jump on each other and fight like crazy.

I don’t have a good shot of them leaping off like little feathered canons but you can still see a bit of what I mean in the photo below.

HAVE ALL THE FOOD THEY NEED THEN FLY OFF
